Andrew Keen of The Independent applies McLuhan's iconic "media is the message" to Obama's text message announcement of his running mate, Biden. Though his argument is overshadowed by his misquote "message is the meduim", he makes other points that are relevant: Is McCain evolving to live in the new medium/environment, as we read with Grossberg?
Furthermore, is it important to the American people to have a media-savvy president?
